Stefano Ferrari
Stefano Ferrari teaches Psychology of Art in the DAMS and Letters degree course and in the Visual Arts master's degree at the University of Bologna. Dal 2010 he is director of the School of Specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage. He carries out his research activity in the field of relationships between art, literature, psychology and psychoanalysis, with particular interest in the psychological dynamics of self-representation both on a literary level (autobiographical writing) how artistic (portrait, self-portrait). He is president of the Emilia-Romagna section of the International Association for Art and Psychology (http://www.artepsicologia.com/ ) which is based at the Department of Arts of Bologna. In the 2010 founded “PsicoArt – Online magazine of art and psychology”: the magazine hosts and promotes interdisciplinary studies and research, both historical and methodological, on the different relationships between the arts, literature, psychology and psychoanalysis. He is also the founder and director of the “Quaderni di PsicoArt”, series of online monographs, also hosted on the AMS Acta Alma DL platform of the University of Bologna.
