EPIDERMAL DIDO
The tragedy of Dido, Queen of Carthage by Christopher Marlowe, Leonce and Lena di Georg Büchner, Inferno (Divine Comedy) by Dante Alighieri.
Lenz Refrazioni created from 11th to 18 July a residency in Spain at Centro Párraga, important space for research and development of contemporary performing arts in Murcia. The residency is aimed at the production of DIDO EPIDERMICA FRAGMENTA video work by Francesco Pititto within the broader DIDO project, new creation by Maria Federica Maestri and Francesco Pititto inspired by Ovid's Dido Aeneae. A visual dramaturgy – imagoturgy – stratified that returns geographical-emotional maps, poetic visions that expand the performative action by refracting the primary dramaturgical nuclei of the tragic myth.
